Chili & Bikes at Mountain State Harley-Davidson

Tasty chili and new Harley’s! What a way to spend a Saturday! Mountain State Harley-Davidson of Delbarton, West Virginia is combining two of their annual events to make one great day of fun on Saturday, March 23rd.

“Every year we do a chili cook-off and an open house, but this year we decided to bring the two together. With one big event we can kick off the riding season with a bang! “says Mike Wilson, Parts Manager at Mountain State Harley-Davidson.

The Chili Cook-Off

The annual chili cook-off is the shop’s way of bringing everyone out of hibernation. With nine competitors signed up to cook the world’s best chili, it’s going to be a great contest! The cook-off is scheduled from 11:00 am -2:00 pm with tasting starting at noon. There will be two categories in the competition: Judges Choice and People’s Choice. Each will offer first, second, and third place prizes. Whether it’s sweet, spicy, or five-alarm hot chili, the contest will be delicious!

The Open House

Mountain State Harley-Davidson Open house is from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Mike explains, “Our annual open house gives everyone a chance to see and ride the latest models of motorcycles in stock.”

Riders can check out the great inventory of new and used bikes, plus all the accessories and clothes needed for riding in style!

Good Food, Good Friends, and Good Times

“We’re really excited to be teaming up with our friends at Smokin’ Pit BBQ in Williamson, West Virginia to offer a “house chili” which is made with their amazing brisket. Both the house chili and the chili contest tasting are free. We want everyone to join us for this fun day at the shop,” says Mike
