Post 49 Market to hold ribbon-cutting
The Post 49 Market, a new year-round indoor location for Williamson Farmers Market, will hold a ribbon-cutting at noon Wednesday, May 3, at 237 East 2nd Avenue in downtown Williamson.
Post 49 offers fresh produce, local meat, fresh eggs, some staples, spices, nutritious snacks and more. Featuring fresh local foods in season, Post 49 provides a wide selection for shoppers striving for healthy eating goals under diet regimens ranging from low sugar to keto.
Cooking and canning classes are offered in the commercial kitchen covering topics ranging from low sodium meals to substitution options for normally sugar-filled favorites.
A successful soft opening for the Post 49 Market was held April 11.
Post 49 is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
