The Tour
This twelve hours guided tour spans 125 miles through the mountains of southern West Virginia and eastern Kentucky. Not only will you see some of the most amazing views the trails have to offer, but you’ll also get a dose of local history. Along the way, you will stop at four historic Hatfield and McCoy sites. These include the Hog Trail Cabin, the Paw Paw tree shooting site, Devil Anse Hatfield cemetery, and Ellison Hatfield cemetery. During the tour you will also take advantage of several scenic overlooks, views of the Tug River, the Glen Alum Train Tunnel, Matewan Depot Museum, and you might catch a glimpse of the wild horses running free! Remember to pack a camera on this ride!
Here are some things to keep in mind:
Since this is a twelve-hour tour, you’ll want to bring a few supplies with you.
-Snacks and drinks. Lunch is included, but you might want a quick bite while you’re at a stop.
-You might want to bring along wet wipes and toilet paper (No explanation needed).
-Spare tire and belt. If you have these for your ride, it’s a good idea to be prepared!
-There are stops for gas during the tour.
-Cost is $40.00 per rider.
The Hatfield and McCoy Feud Tours run every Saturday through November 30th. Each tour has a limited number of spots available, so it is recommended you book in advance.
