Garden season is almost here! To help you get started, the annual Williamson Farmers Market Seed Swap is scheduled for Saturday, March 6th!
In the past, the Seed Swap has grown to be quite the event, with a variety of vendors and educational workshops, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic the event will not host those extras this year. However, the most important part of all will still be there: the seeds!
Seeds! Get Your Seeds Here!
Five vendors will be set up with a variety of starter plants and seeds available. Whether you are an experienced grower or casual gardener, you can come out and swap those extra seeds with fellow farmers or pick up what you need for garden season. If you’re looking for fresh, local pork you’ll be able to purchase that at the seed swap, too!
The Seed Swap will be Saturday, March 6 from 10am- 12pm. The swap will take place at the regular Williamson Farmers Market location at 54 3rd Avenue, Williamson next to City Gym. For more info about the seed swap, check out the event page or the Williamson Farmers Market Facebook page.
