Southern West Virginia is known for its long, rich history and stories. It’s no surprise that people in the area love their antiques! A passion for storytelling and sharing the perfect treasure is what led Lacy and Lil Felix-Muncy to start Muncy’s Collectables.
“We’re a premium collectables store where you can find an incredible selection of antiques along with hard-to-find popular collectables of every kind,” Lil says. “We offer new and vintage collectables at impressive prices, ensuring that you’ll find new, amazing treasures every time you visit.”
The couple started their store to offer folks in the area the chance to learn a little history and take home a treasure with a great story. “Muncy’s Collectables is all about the story,” Lil says. “There is great pride in telling the stories from the past.”
No matter what it is you want to buy, they will do their best to make sure you know the story of the piece you’re buying.
Before they started their business, Lacy loved going to estate sales, flea markets, auctions, and yard sales, and he still handles the buying today. He loves the chance to travel, and meet people from all walks of life, Lil says.
Muncy’s Collectables is located at 1715 West 3rd Avenue, West Williamson, West Virginia next to the Williamson Field House. The couple is always open to buying from estate sales and moving sales, and encourage anyone looking to downsize to contact them. “I am just trying to get out there what it is we do and how we get our products,” Lil says.
