What's Your Favorite Christmas Movie?

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. Of course, that’s because of the time with family and the chance to show your love with the perfect gift and the best foods, but for many people, a favorite Christmas movie or two is another important part of the holiday season! We asked a few people around Williamson to share their favorites, so if you’re looking for suggestions, keep Netflix at the ready.

Kathy Moore picks a late 80s classic: National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. “It reminds me so much of my family from the love and laughter they all show.”

Ralphie Hall couldn’t pick just one. “My top five are A Very Brady Christmas, Hallmark’s Christmas Tree Lane, Santa Claus the Movie, and Home Alone. To me, these movies show the essence of Christmas and the Christmas spirit!”

Scott Evans picked a movie that’s the subject of many cheerful Christmas movie debates. “It’s a controversial choice,” he says. “Because some people don’t think it’s a Christmas movie, but Die Hard is my favorite. On the surface, it’s one of the best action films ever made, but underneath, it’s a heartwarming tale of a man willing to go to any lengths to save his family.”

Whether your favorite movie is a classic like A Christmas Carol or a newer “classic” like Elf, we hope you make time to pop some popcorn and enjoy your favorite Christmas movies!
