#YoungEntrepreneursDay2023: Annleigh Hoffman
Since 2020, the Tug Valley Chamber of Commerce has hosted Young Entrepreneurs Day, an event that puts under-18 business owners in the area at the forefront and offers them new opportunities. Many kids and teens have participated in that time, and thanks to the success they helped to make possible, the Chamber of Commerce is happy to be hosting the 4th Young Entrepreneurs Day on Saturday, August 5 from 10 am-3pm at the Williamson Field House.
Kids of all ages from around the area come to participate in Young Entrepreneurs Day. One such kid is Annleigh Hoffman, an 8 year old that attends Belfry Elementary School. Annleigh will be debuting her sweets shop, Annleigh’s Funnel Cake Shop, which will sell– you guessed it– funnel cake!
Annleigh heard about YED from her cousin, Sawyer James, who has participated in YED in the past, and plans to do so again this year. “My cousin Sawyer sells lemonade there!” She says. “When I heard about it, I decided I wanted to give it a try.”
Annleigh enjoys making people smile and making money from her own small business, and she can’t wait to make some yummy funnel cakes at Young Entrepreneurs Day! To keep yourself updated on YED and mark yourself as a sure attendee, check out the Young Entrepreneurs Day Facebook page.
