Williamson/Belfry and South Williamson, Kentucky
The Easter Bunny is coming to the South Side Mall!! The bunny arrives on Friday, April 5th at 4:00pm and will be in center court through Saturday, April 20th. Come visit the Easter Bunny and have your picture taken! A daily schedule for the bunny can be found on the South Side Mall Facebook page.
Show off your creative side in Easter style! The Great Create will host an “Easter Bun” painting class on Thursday, April 18th at 6:30 pm at Belfry High School. All supplies needed will be provided so you can create your Easter masterpiece! You must reserve your spot by messaging the Great Create through their Facebook page. Cost per person is $15.00.
On Saturday, April 20th, it’s an Easter Egg Hunt at the Williamson Culture & Recreation Center (former Williamson High School). Ages 1-5 will run for the eggs from 12:00pm-2:00pm and ages 6-12 fill their baskets from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. That’s not all this day offers! The Easter Bunny will be joined by superheroes, princesses, and others for fun photo ops. Plus, live music and activities will be happening during the day! The event is scheduled from 12:00pm – 5:00pm. You must pre-register for this fun-filled day at www.itickets.com . Each ticket is $5.00.
Matewan/Beech Creek
Children 12 years old and under are invited to an Easter Egg Hunt in downtown Matewan on Sunday, April 14th. The hunt begins at 2:00 pm and all eggs will be filled with candy or prizes! Concession stands offering hot dogs, nachos, homemade goodies, and more will be open. Proceeds from concessions will benefit the Mingo Central High School Baseball team. Candy-filled eggs and nachos- that sounds like a delicious day!
The Beech Creek Community Park is hosting an Easter event on Saturday, April 6th, 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm. Along with an Easter Egg Hunt for children, the day will also offer live gospel music. Yummy hot dogs, nachos, baked goods, and more will be available for purchase. Help the park celebrate their first event of the year!
Delbarton
Mountain State Harley-Davidson will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt and Blessing of the Bikes on Saturday, April 13th from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. Early birds to the event can join the crew at 10:30 am for coffee and doughnuts. At 11:00 am, everyone is invited to gather together to join in prayer for all riders to have a fantastic and safe riding season.
The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11:30pm. They’ll have special prize eggs too! After the hunt, everyone will be treated to snacks and refreshments. Then, the bunny of the hour will arrive! The Easter Bunny will hop (or ride) into Mountain State Harley-Davidson to give out treat bags and take selfies with everyone. Bring your family and enjoy this fabulous Easter event!
