New Exhibit Opening in The Sanger Gallery

The Sanger Gallery, located in The Collective Retail & Artisan Shops, has a new exhibit opening on Friday, December 8. Gallery owner, Randall Sanger, will begin the Framed- and Unframed Gallery Exhibit just in time for the Christmas season.  To kick off the exhibit a “low-key” reception will be held on Friday from 5:00pm-7:00pm and will feature a hot chocolate bar from CC Coffee and Tea Interest.

Sanger explains the theme for this exhibit came about for a couple reasons.” I wanted to update the wall space in my gallery with pieces that were not tied to a particular theme so that I could offer a little more variety during the Christmas season, “ Sanger continues,”I also wanted to feature a great product with sizes and pricing that are perfect for Christmas gift giving.  While this product is not new and earth shattering, it is new to my gallery space, and I think the classic design will appeal to a good number of people.”

According to Sanger, artwork has always been a wonderful Christmas gift, and you will find a couple of new local pieces as well as several of his best-selling pieces on the wall to choose from in framed, and unframed styles. In addition to the new exhibit pieces, popular gift items such as matted prints, coaster, note cards, calendars, books, and more are available in the gallery space.

Sanger says, “I invite everyone to stop by Friday evening primarily to help us celebrate and support local art and small businesses in downtown Williamson. The Williamson area is blessed with several talented artists and artisans, we should celebrate and support them by showing up when opportunities like this arise.

The exhibit will run until January 12, 2024. The Sanger Gallery in The Collective Retail & Artisan Shops is located on 2nd Ave in downtown WIlliamson across from the Mingo County Courthouse and the Coal House.
