All the Comfort Of a Home Cooked Meal, Made Easy!
Looking for all the comfort and flavor of a classic home-cooked meal without actually having to spend hours chopping, mixing, and cooking? The Williamson Farmers Market will be offering their first ever Take and Bake Dinner, and all you have to do is pick it up and put it in the oven!
Kristin DeBoard, Nutrition and Marketing Manager for Williamson Health and Wellness Center describes it as the “simplest dinner you will ever make”. Organizers wanted to offer something simple and easy to help people out during the colder months. “People are adjusting to winter, so it takes the burden off,” Kristin says.
The Take and Bake Dinner will be a chicken casserole filled with classic, delicious vegetables like carrots, celery, and potatoes. The deadline to pre-pay for a casserole has passed, but organizers plan to make a few extra for those who missed it. Folks who’d like to grab a casserole can pick one up at the Williamson Farmers Market on 3rd Avenue in Williamson on Friday, December 4 from 5pm-7pm, or while supplies last.
What about dessert? Never fear, the market has you covered! The Williamson Farmers Market staff will also have a limited supply of pizzelle cookies for sale Friday evening from 5pm-7pm. You can buy ten cookies for $5.00. Supplies will be limited, so get there early!
