Get ready, because the Williamson Farmers Market is about to be back for the season! Saturday, June 5th will be Opening Day for the Williamson Farmers Market, and there will be plenty to celebrate! Marketing and Nutrition Manager for the Williamson Farmers Market Kristin DeBoard says they expect an excellent day. “Opening day should be great this year,” she says. “We have more vendors than we have had in a long time.”
The market is located downtown at 54 3rd Avenue and will be open from 9:00am-2:00pm. Organizers expect to see around 15 vendors at the market. Also, the Rockin’ Rolls- Cinnamon Rolls truck will be onsite during market hours. Rumor has it that a couple folks might even come out to share some tunes!
The Williamson Farmers Market has been a staple in providing fresh produce to the area for years, and it’s a great way to support local businesses and growers! Whether you’re a first-timer looking to spend your first day at the market, or you’ve attended every single farmers market, it will be a great day!
