Spreading Christmas Cheer Through Music!

Everyone knows the holiday season has truly begun when every store, car, and household is full of the sound of Christmas carols. Whether you enjoy the classics, the spiritual, or a newer pop (Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, anyone?), there’s bound to be a tune to put a smile on your face.

In case you need some fresh additions to your Christmas playlist, Ralphie Hall and Homer Mullins from the weekly online show Ralphie & Homer RealTime have shared their Top 5 Christmas Songs!

Classics and New Favorites

Homer enjoys some Christmas classics covered by more modern artists, as well as some original tunes. He’s also a big fan of Little Drummer Boy, which appears twice on his list!

  1. “Little Drummer Boy” by Bob Seger

  2. “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)” by John Lennon

  3. “Little Drummer Boy (Peace on Earth)” by David Bowie and Bing Crosby

  4. “Mary Did You Know” by Pentatonix

  5. “All I want For Christmas Is a Real Good Tan” by Kenny Chesney

Ralphie tends to stick to the classics, but he’s not opposed to some fresh takes on some spiritual classics!

  1. “Blue Christmas” by Elvis

  2. “O Holy Night” by Nat King Cole

  3. “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” by Brenda Lee

  4. “Holly Jolly Christmas” by Burl Ives

  5. “What Child is This” by Carrie Underwood

No matter what you prefer, any one of these would fit perfectly on a Christmas playlist! To read more about Ralphie and Homer, check out their Top 10 One Hit Wonders!
