YED 2020 Spotlight: Lillee McCoy

Young Entrepreneur Spotlight: Lilliee McCoy

Healthy and Rich Ingredients

If you plan to stop by Young Entrepreneurs Day and have a taste for healthy snacks, you’ll definitely want to stop by Lilliee McCoy’s Smoothie Sisters business!

Lilliee, who is 9 years old, attends Belfry Elementary School, where her favorite subject is social studies. At home, Lillee loves to try different healthy recipes for her family to enjoy. “I started by experimenting with different healthy and rich ingredient combinations, and holding a taste testing session with my family,” she says.

Lillee says she was inspired by all of the different recipes she finds or sees in other places. Since Williamson doesn’t have a smoothie shop, she decided to try out the recipes herself!

Decadent Sweet Treats

Lillee will be selling a variety of healthy smoothies at Young Entrepreneurs Day, as well as some more “decadent” ones for a sweet treat. She hopes that this will be a chance to encourage folks in town to try out a healthy snack. “I am excited about encouraging people in my community to try smoothies,” says Lillee

If you want to try Lilliee’s delicious smoothies and support other young business owners, come out on Saturday, July 25th during Young Entrepreneurs Day 2020 hosted by the Tug Valley Chamber of Commerce and Healthy in the Hills. The event will be held at the Williamson Farmers Market on 3rd Avenue, Williamson,WV from 9am - 2pm.
