Young Entrepreneur Spotlight: Noah Riffe
This Saturday, kids from around the area will come together to sell everything from smoothies to crafts, and learn about owning a business at Young Entrepreneurs Day! If you enjoy crafts and decorations made from salvaged wood and similar materials, you will definitely want to visit Noah’s Country Crafts.
Setting Goals and Saving Money
Noah Riffe is the 11-year-old owner of Noah’s Country Crafts. He started building things with his dad, who has a background in carpentry, and at 4-H, where he signed up for carpentry. He enjoyed it, and began selling his own creations to save money for a new computer. Noah’s next goal after the computer is to save enough money to buy a car.
Noah tells us he is excited about Young Entrepreneurs Day because it will help him earn some money to meet his goal of buying a computer. “I’m excited to see if people like my projects too”, he says.
If you want to support Noah and the other young business owners, come out on Saturday, July 25th during Young Entrepreneurs Day 2020 hosted by the Tug Valley Chamber of Commerce and Healthy in the Hills. The event will be held at the Williamson Farmers Market on 3rd Avenue, Williamson,WV from 9am - 2pm.
