All Ghouls Welcome at the Killer 5K and 1 Mile WalkÂ
If you’re a ghoul, ghost, zombie, or any other supernatural critter in need of a workout, then the Tug Valley Road Runners Club has the event for you: the Killer 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk. This run will welcome folks of all kinds for a pleasant fall run, just in time for spooky season!Â
The Killer 5K invites folks to run in-costume, even featuring a costume contest with multiple categories. We recommend making sure that your costume does not impede your ability to run or walk comfortably, and making sure that if you wear a mask, it does not inhibit your breathing. Safety first!Â
The Killer 5K begins Friday, October 20 from 6pm to 7:30 pm, and the race starts at Calvary Baptist Church. This event is timed, and while there are no age awards, they do recognize the top 3 female and male runners. Registration is pre-event from 4pm to 5:45 pm, and costs $25 for both the 5K and 1 Mile Walk. Good luck to all participants, and we hope you have a pleasantly spooky time!Â
