For eleven years, Brandon Dotson has been passionate about graphic design and printing. “I used to work at a print shop, where I learned the craft and fell in love with the creative side of things,” he says. This love of design blossomed alongside the band he was once in with his business partner, Jon Mounts. “Jon realized he had an interest in filming, so he started doing research and buying equipment to learn the trade.” The pair developed a passion for promoting local musicians and businesses, and Cadence 19 Productions was formed in Verner, West Virginia.
Cadence 19 Productions is a production company specializing in video production, graphic design, and music production. They have a recording studio, and are able to take video production on the road if necessary. “As far as graphic design, we do album covers, t-shirt designs, logo designs, etc,” Brandon says.
Jon and Brandon enjoy seeing local businesses flourish. “We want to help businesses and highlight community events, because we feel like Mingo County, all of Southern West Virginia, and Eastern Kentucky have a lot to offer,” Brandon says. “I feel like we can help, not just Williamson, but the surrounding areas by expanding their reach for customers, as well as showcasing our area to people who come in from out of state.”
